Parents

Because your involvement is key to your student's educational success, we strongly encourage parents and families to get involved in activities that connect them with the University. The South Asia University Parents Association ( SAUPA ), strives to enhance communication with all families and the University.

Led by the Parent Advisory Board, and working in concert with the enrollment management and student affairs offices, SAUPA provides valuable information on upcoming events, campus issues, and University developments. Members receive special benefits , including discounts on family events and access to the VIP program, which offers discounts with businesses and much more. SAUPA members are also eligible to serve on the Parent Advisory Board , or any of its representative committees, giving you an opportunity to help voice the concerns and issues affecting Northeastern families.

Perhaps your child is just beginning to think about colleges, or has already toured and interviewed at several. Or, perhaps you have a child at South Asia University and are already part of the University family. In any case, it's important for you to know about the Parents Association!

As a parent, you are automatically a member of the Parents Association if your student is a current or past student of the University. We're parents who like to help other parents, and ultimately benefit all students and the University community. We're best described by our mission and goals. There are no dues, and all parents are welcome to participate in our meetings.

An important component of the South Asia University Parents Association is the Parents Advisory Board, made up of a small group of dedicated parents. The mission of the Parents Advisory Board is: to provide feedback/suggestions related to SAU Parents Programs and help determine future direction; to serve as a resource to prospective and current SAU parents in terms of student academic life and life within the University community; to provide valuable input to SAU administration when a parents "point of view" is needed; and to assist the Director of Parents Programs and President of the Parents Association as needed in project planning and development.

Whether you're a prospective student parent, student, or already part of the family, we look forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas about student life at Student University . Contact us anytime via email.
